Family run hotel. The manager was lovely and super friendly. The view is so beautiful with the sea in front. I think it's a really good option considering location and price.

The receptionist didn't consider that two men might be a couple, made us all feel very awkward. Then he argued for 10 minutes about the booking website, saying he didn't get paid. We had paid in full, I don't know if he was just complaining or trying to get more money, either way it wasn't our problem. The rooms were dirt cheap and looked it. Not updated in decades, people yelling in the corridors keeping us awake all night. I would never go back.

The location is amazing and staff were friendly, however the room was a great disappointment. The bunk bed made a very loud squeaky noise every time our daughter made the smallest move so we did not sleep throughout the night. Balcony door was bolted shut so we could not open it even a little bit to get some fresh air. The room was not clean especially around the balcony door and on the side of the bed, some of the areas have not been cleaned in a long time so it wasn't just a one off error in the last cleaning of the room. Around 8am door banging has started just outside of the room and continued throughout the night. It was very expensive for what was on offer, but to be honest would not stay again in the room free of charge.

Stayed with some work colleagues on the 29th July which was booked by our employer. On arrival the owner tried to deny we had booking even though we were on his room list fixed to his clip board in front of him. …

I had booked a late check in (between 00:00 and 01:00) just after midnight on Saturday. I arrived before check in opened (14:00), about 12:30, and spoke to the owner. I asked about early check in - they confirmed my details, checked the room, and advised it was still being prepared so would be a late check in as planned.I visited my friends room on the top floor (they checked in the day before) - it was dirty, cracked plaster, radiators hanging off the wall...not a great start - but it was what I'd booked. So ran with it.I went off to the wedding, and then received a voicemail at 21:08 advising that my room was no longer available. What?!?No offer to find something else. No help. No room.My mate told me the overheard the staff saying the day before "someone's sleeping on the street tonight, we've overbooked again!"Absolutely disgraceful, and no remorse.

I didn’t make it as far as my stay because the hotel manager, Josie, contact me to say that they have double booked and that I should cancel my booking. She was incredibly rude and made no effort to solve the issue until I said that I would complain. She then offered us a sea view room (something that the original booking had anyway). When I questioned why she hadn’t just done this in the first place instead of telling me I had to cancel, she then withdrew the offer and claimed that that room was also now gone.

Great location, beautiful sea view. And that's all from pros.£80 rip-off for stinking something called "room". Heavy smell of damp everywhere. Quirky lift. Cold night - no heating. Shower door broken. Tinny toilet door damaged. Squeaky floor. I was looking for tribal mural painting, because furniture are from Iron Age. No parking place. Breakfast not available. And the most important: almost missed ferry because couldn't wake up staff!!! Hotel doors were locked and we couldn't get outside!!! OK, it was owner's dog in reception, but not very helpful.Recommended for desperate customers only!

It's a family run hotel so don't expect too much. Our room had good sized two beds. The room was pretty small but it was clean.Breakfast was good. It's near to the Harbour arm and other pubs and supermarkets , which is quite good. I enjoyed my overnight stay in this hotel. If you are not too fussy about the size of the room then this could be the right bet to spend a night or two.Pics of the room that we stayed in and of the vicinity are attached for reference.
