Rubbish hotel, very dirty, clustered smelling of cannabis and cigarettes'. Poor services, the curtains pole were broken, dirty and the rooms are old modern including the toilet, it's better not to waste your money booking this hotel unless it for an emergency

We stayed on route to a funeral. The reception and corridors smelt really bad. Hall carpets were very worn. The room luckerly was clean as we had travelled many hrs. …

Firstly this is no longer a Travelodge. I stayed there 3 years ago and it was a lovely hotel, now I wouldn't step foot in it again.  …

This is the most discussing hotel I’ve ever stayed.||||Please note this isn’t a travel lodge it has been taken over and left to rot.||||We got bitten alive place was fitly.||||Can’t see how the service station has all the major companies on site and this absolute abortion of an hotel.

The good:- a cheap stay- sheets were clean- location is handy just off the M25 and close to the Dartford crossing- you get a dry roof over your head and a shower. The bad:- I had more communication issues here than in all my journeying around hotels in Europe- When confronted with an issue the staff do not care about helping- the corridors are filthy with worn and heavily stained carpets- there are bags of rubbish left in the corridors and in the fire exit stairs (which are smelly and stained as well)- the windows of the room look over the small lake and power lines across rubbish strewn around the edge of the hotel and over flowing skips with plastic bags of rubbish heaped next to them.- it could be difficult to get a view of much through the poorly maintained and filthy windows.- the well-intentioned soap/gel dispensers were long empty- no hairdryer was given nor available when asked- the general cleanliness of the room was lacking and I felt uncomfortable walking on the room floors with bare feet- the bathroom floor had uncleaned stainage- the lights were poorly fitted with shades that wobbled and just lifted off; a tap was needed to make one stay lit.- weirdly there were few facilities but my room had a badly fitted bottle opener screwed to the side of the furniture.- (?) I don’t think there is a lift so I lugged my luggage up and down the stairs.I stayed here to save a few ££s after touring the continent but should have spent a bit more on somewhere/anywhere else.It does not feel like a branded Travelodge but more like a seedy, independent hovel run by staff that do just not care. You get what you pay for but in this case probably not even that…
