The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean. The complimentary tea and coffee was appreciated. …

Full of character I loved it! The bedroom was a bit warm inside but there was a fan inside that was actually quite silence so I had it on through the night. Friendly staff and a great full English breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again.

Went here for a meal. The menu has lots of choice and reasonably priced. Portions size are substantial. The food is lovely and a nice atmosphere. Staff are polite and friendly and Ellie who looked after us for the evening has great customer service. Always had a smile and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Well worth the visit.

The room was perfect. Clean and ready for the family to stay in. Enough towels for all of us for showers. A big part of staying there is The Old Gate Inn food and hospitality. A perfect stay!

Had a meal here and was asked if I would like some mixed vegetables to go with my shepherd's pie, I was then given some boiled cabbage chopped up in a small dish and charged £3 for it.Let me say the service was good and the shepherd's pie but to call chopped up cabbage mixed veg is another thing.
