Came with my roommate for a carvery as we live close by and I’d never been to one before and I was thoroughly impressed - the selection of meats and the cauliflower cheese were particularly incredible. Sticky pud was delicious too and portions were generous. Only wish they had more green veg options too but otherwise hope they never change! Thoroughly recommend and will absolutely be back soon✨

My favourite hotel in UK. It's the 5th time I am visiting Victoria hotel. Friendly staff very helpful. Daily fresh buffet and cooked breakfast. Carvery was great served every day at very good price.|Very nice clean room. I am definitely choosing and recommending this hotel again.

If you are thinking of coming here to rest, forget about it. The hotel is very noisy, either because of the people in the pub or the people in the rooms, it doesn’t help that the building is quite old and sound travels easily. …

This is our first time in Cantebury and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is in a great location. About a mile walk to the cathedral but is a pleasant flat walk. Hotel is great, staff very friendly and breakfast lovely. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Excellent hotel||My sister and I stayed for four nights from 1st to the 5th July. We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Hotel. The room was beautifully clean with comfortable beds and a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. …

Really lovely place to eat. Piping hot and not bad price. A few people at our table had a starter missing, so they had to watch others eat. For a party of 20 plus, they did really well. Thank you

Very good service and nice friendly staff. Food good. The breakfast buffet the best we've experienced. A 20 minute walk into town but along quiet roads. Large car park so no problems parking. Local transport good, we left car all week and used the buses/trains. Will book again if we ever decide to visit this area.

We booked this hotel based on the ample parking and location but were absolutely blown away by the amazingly kind staff and the rooms being so clean and cosy. The team went above and beyond to help us and were all so friendly. Even checking in we were given a little map and directions! Wow what service! The room was absolutely perfect with lots of towels and supplies for the shower, much appreciated.I couldn’t fault the place at all. If I ever come back here I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Wish I could be here longer.Thank you to the whole team

Great hotel to stay near Canterbury as it provides nice accommodation, free parking and they have lots of information on where to go. They gave us a page of info and a map to easily get your bearings on the places of interest in Canterbury. It's a 20+ minute walk into the city, or get a taxi as parking in the City is expensive.Food here is ok. There is a carvery here and a selection of 3 meats, and roast veg etc. ask for a steak knife as the normal knives are blunt. They do give you thick slices of meat! Breakfast was included and it's a "full English" but you have a choice of lighter dishes, but not a full range of continental. The menu at lunchtime is the same as the evening but there is a more economical version if you ask for it. Saturday lunchtime was busier than the evening. The restaurant looked like it was a Tudor building but it isn't! Go into the city to find the genuine Tudor or older buildings!Rooms had been decorated nice and modern, but whoever has done this didn't quite update everything, but that doesn't matter as it doesn't provide any less functional items. Really large bed, firm but comfortable, large TV with free view rather than Sky etc so if you're from another country looking for your language TV, then look on your phone or tablet. WiFi was good enough to stream and no issues picked up by my antivirus package. We will be back😃

Used the hotel conservatory for a client meeting as it's accessible and client uses a wheelchair. All good but they could really do with getting a decent coffee machine. On the plus side, the pot of tea was perfect
