We were privileged to be invited to a 80th birthday buffet lunch at this hotel. The food was delicious, the setting delightful and the staff both charming and unobtrusive. Would recommend for a similar function any time. Must try Sunday lunch next - rumoured to be good!

Lovely hotel. The staff were lovely esp the young lad around 2pm on 2nd of August. Really polite.Only thing in our room was no towels when we got in our room and no little milks with the whole tea and sugar set up. But they sorted that straight away and with friendliness. My mum's room was lovely and open to. Her bathroom was like an open plan bathroom like a shower where the water would kinda go everywhere and maybe they need a large bath mat for safety as soon as they went into the bathroom it was already set from previous or being cleaned and she nearly slipped over.Lovely spacious rooms though. Comfy beds etc. Lovely location. Breakfast was yummy. And presented well.

Stayed here for the first time last year with my daughter and we loved it. It was such a nice place that we stayed there again last week. It's so close to the beach, and the staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. …

We enjoyed our stay here and the staff where very pleasant and helpful. We did have a problem but I have still given 5 stars. We stayed in the Madeira room. This room was right next to the lift. All through the night the lift made a noise like some had pressed the button then just stopped 😫. Hopefully they will have fixed this problem when you stay or don't stay the the Madeira room 😅. I have included a picture of an egg boiling machine. Nice addition to your free continental breakfast.

First of all the location is perfect facing the sea and close to all the action the service we received on welcome was excellent told everything we needed to know but the room was a bit dated especially the bathroom the shower was small and kept hitting my arms I'm only 5ft 3 the pressure for water was low but we were on the top floor so to be expected. One negative was we both found the bed a bit hard for our liking and woke up aching a bit but overall slept well. The breakfast was amazing couldn't fault it with toast cereal and eggs ect no full English. So overall the place was very nice

Pricey for what you get. Basic service. On check in the member of staff just checked who I was and that was it as it was prepaid. I had to ask about what happens if you are back late and need to get in the hotel. Room had a nice view (location on seafront) but the bathroom was awful, dated, nowhere to put any of your own toiletries and ones that were provided were cheap and nasty. Big bottle of something in the shower which had no label. Bathroom light didn’t work. Seems they had a problem before with this. Didn’t like the look of exposed wires in the shower above my head, so didn’t end up having shower in the end. Lift look condemned and not in service.Coffee machine didn’t have coffee cups that matched what came out. Tiny cups but then when only half filled by the machine, then pressed again and it overflowed. Continental breakfast offered is lazy and for what I paid for room, would expect a hot breakfast. Stayed in better places in other seaside resorts. No personal touch. Not greeted in morning yet had to say what time I was going for breakfast even though nobody to meet and greet. No milk for coffee/tea in the room, but when queried, then told fresh milk in a bottle should have been provided. As no fridge in room, why would I want fresh milk?

The room was very large, bit dated and in need of some tlc, a lamp each side of the bed is expected. Only a small bin in the bathroom. …

The room was enormous and so was the bed. A great hotel opposite the beach. Breakfast was good, nice selection. Dog friendly. Tea making facilities in both rooms which was great, just a couple of steps separating the bedrooms, both with own bathroom

we were due to stay here august 2024 after having stayed here for the last 2 years. Unfortunately we have recently found out that the hotel has now closed down, which is such sad news. My daughter and i loved staying here, it was a lovely hotel with amazing staff. We wish all the staff the very best for the future, take care.

A traditional seaside hotel. The room we had was quite big with a large bathroom. The shower was basic but worked well. Despite the large bathroom the mirror was strangely small. The bedroom has lots of electric sockets and the WiFi was good. The furniture was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. The TV was mounted at 90 degrees to the bed which was odd. There was a large and bright communal lounge bar.Breakfast was OK, but a bit shambolic.Overall we would stay again.Thank you.
