The staff were so helpful in the planning of my Mum’s wake.Everything was perfect, the afternoon tea was gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully laid out and perfect for such a function.Family stayed there and were very pleased with the rooms. We were all able to have breakfast together the next day and what a delicious breakfast it was.My husband always gauges the breakfast on the quality of the sausage and he was not disappointed! Many thanks to Lucy and her staff such a lovely place

We stayed at the "Ilch" as we were going to a show at nearby Martock. I have to say we were extremely impressed. The room was spotlessly clean and the ensuite was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was perfection.  …

Lovely place. We arrived with six motorcycles and they had arranged particular parking for our bikes in the car park. Great service. Nice friendly place, local staff who were nice and helpful. My room (No1) whilst a great room, had a poor shower water pressure, otherwise I'd give 5 stars. Great Italian restaurant only 2 doors away.

Stayed for one night recently in a double ensuite room which was spacious and clean. It was at the front of the building and there was some traffic noise but wasn't too bad. …

Really cute pub in a really cute village, stayed close by whilst visiting a few NT property’s. Really friendly staff, food was delicious, haven’t had a ploughman’s in years as they aren’t fashionable but it was delicious as was the burger and cheesy garlic bread. Would definitely visit again if in the area

Myself and 6 others had afternoon tea in the Ilchester Arms a couple of weeks ago and loved every minute. We had a separate well decorated light and airy room with the best selection of sandwiches and home made cakes. Tea and coffee was topped up frequently and we all enjoyed a couple of relaxed hours chatting.

This place is a lovely hotel/pub. We booked this going from Cornwall to Stonehenge as a stopover. The room was quaint and nicely turned out, clean and tidy. The shower wasn’t the best, distinct lack of pressure but we were on the third floor so that’s always a problem.Decent pints and wine to go with friendly service. They offer a breakfast with the room which being plant based and gluten free we were sceptical, but they really delivered. Provided us with gluten free bread and a nice cooked breakfast. Really aware and sensitive to allergies and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Really is a well run and delightful place to stay. Thanks guys for sorting the food out, it’s usually a challenge to feed us but you guys were great. 👍
