I booked this accommodation as a base for my son’s wedding in August 2018, we found the owner to be extremely unhelpful and at times rude to members of our family. We were constantly scrutinised and were questioned constantly about the size of our party. The house sleeps 10 and only ever did we have a maximum of 6 people sleeping there at one time, although members of the wedding party did visit. The property was not as advertised as the front driveway was off limits at all times and the ‘enclosed’ rear garden had been fenced off and a large gap made in the wall. The garden was useless as there was no useable lawn area and any children could have been able to escape onto the road. The facilities were also very basic, there were only 2 dishwasher tablets and a bottle of washing up liquid, one reused dishcloth, and one tea towel. The oven was also inadequate for a house of this size as there was only 1 oven shelf. The bathroom configuration is also inadequate for the number of occupants. We have stayed in self catering properties all over the world and this was by far the worst, and would not recommend it to anyone.
