Castleton is a lovely village.Candle House was perfect for us as the garden was enclosed so the dog could have a run around and he had lots of space downstairs to sleep.Facilities were good. A bathtub upstairs would've been a bonus but only if you like baths.Living room sofa was very comfy and TV had all the apps you needed. WiFi was strong and reliable.Short walk to village was nice. Farm Shop had nice products. The Pork pies at Peverill Stores were amazing.Outdoor seating and lighting in garden were good. If weather had been a bit nicer would've tried the firepit & BBQ.If I got a similar deal I would definitely return, perhaps for 4-5 days.

We ve had a fabulous time at Candle House. Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, everything you need there too. We were a party of 7+ infant & dog and plenty of room for us all. Outdoor area lovely, which we used the whole time. Bar b q , hot tub spotless, bar and fire pit. Lovely location in walking distance of little town and a lovely little farm shop next door with rabbits & guinea pigs to feed, which our granddaughter loved. We had a lovely sunday lunch at The George pub too. Would highly recommend this property . Thank you

Absolutely delighted with our stay at Candle House! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with elegance and comfort. The house boasts beauty in every corner and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds? Utterly divine; the comfiest I've ever experienced! Impeccable cleanliness added to the charm of our stay. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Wow wow wowWe have loved staying at Candle HouseVery comfortable beds with luxury linen, lovely decor and fabulous cooking facilities. Showers are powerful and the lounge area is so relaxing.Views from windows mesmerising and relaxing.Had the best chilled time in a long time. Fabulous place to unwind and already want to come back! Really don’t want to go home as so peaceful.Candle house is situated close to an array of bars, cafe and eateries including an Italian restaurant were the food was to die for.Booked candle house for husbands 50th and had friends with us! Everyone had such a great time.Very luxurious holiday let and would be hard to beat! Love you candle house and can’t wait to see you again ❤️❤️
