Dear Marilyn Thank you very much for a lovely time at your B&B. We can't tell you how much we enjoyed the stay over two nights in Bakewell. The breakfast was amazing and you were the perfect hostess, Miss congeniality personified. Lovely room and bed to die for. Hope you will be very happy in your retirement.||Carol and Michael X

We arrived in Blackwell during our 38 day adventure with great anticipation, we've stay in 7 hotels and BB's so far, but this place was beyond words. It's in the middle of a junk yard, debris all around. …

Myself and my partner had a fabulous time at Haddon Hall Farm. What first drew me to the B&B was the website, Marilyn's witty sense of humour made me laugh, she welcomed people from all walks of life and was not judgmental at all! …

Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming. This is a farmhouse b & b with a lot of added extras. Some might say quirky but that is the point! …

I read the mixed reviews, talk of a narrow staircase to the spring meadow bedroom and about the bathroom being next door instead of attached, but from reading the website I could get a sense and a family feeling about the owner. …

I was somewhat concerned when I read the mixed reviews but made the booking given the good location near Bakewell. The arrival experience was underwhelming and the hall untidy with discrded shoes.it got steadily worse. …

If you want damp walls; musty sheets; and no shower in your bathroom stay here. This was not a boutique B&B despite the claims on the website. Breakfasts were fairly average, with no muffins in sight. There are far better places to stay near or in Bakewell.
