Myself and my partner booked a Zeni studio on the airbnb site and i was robbed by our airbnb HOST, after trying to resolve the issue “Josh” our host was still working behind the counter the following days making our stay very uncomfortable and upsetting as we didnt have elsewhere to go. We were doubted by some zeni staff members who didnt believe us untill our host had phoned and admitted and returned my stolen property. Nothing was done about this on either parties so far i had to suffer knowing he was going to be in the building greeting me and my partner everyday. The experience traumatised us.

Could not recommend more highly for the location and price. Staying for one week appreciate more as days go by. Everything in the room as needed and nothing that isn't. Clean and neat. Thank you ZENI

Apartment was ideal for our stay, clean and central location. Was a bit worried after reading some other reviews but could not fault it. Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is there's a reason it's the cheapest option you'll find. You are staying in a student accommodation block. Furthermore, do not trust the Google Maps location – you may actually be in a block further from the city centre. I was in Kaplan Living, around a 15 minute walk from the city centre. There were very limited nearby amenities: a Greggs and a Tesco Express, nowhere to get breakfast.I'll give credit that the rooms felt modern, if a bit on the cheap side. There are very basic amenities – linen, towels and a couple of toiletries. There are no kitchen facilities nor coffee & tea making facilities, and you are threatened with a fine if you attempt to use them. The room wasn't particularly well cleaned, but it was passable. If you can afford it, go for a hotel instead.

Small and not suitable for 2 people as bed is just a plus size single. Very very noisy at weekends due to pubs opposite. Unclean, hairs in sink and dirty floors. A group of us all had rooms allocated on different floors. Good location.

Avoid at all costs if booking as a hotel stay.Where to begin…- black mould around the shower and kitchen tiles- foul smells from burnt on cooking on the hob and oven- long hairs in bed sheets (I’m bald)- freezing cold showers- no bin- no kettle- one single toilet roll / no toilet brush- no soapGenerally very dated facilities with very poor customer service.I accept it is for students but they are selling a hotel experience too.If you’re ok with basics, it’ll be fine. If not, stick to your chains - travelodge is best!
