Booked direct with John at Square Tree House. He rang as we were leaving to wish us a good journey. Allowed my friend & I in early to get changed for a wedding. Booked our taxi for us & even escorted us into it,true gentleman!! Wife/assistant were making up the rooms. Large house. Had room 3,really big/spacious with drink facilities. Overlooking back garden. Continental breakfast in morning with beautiful crockery/cutlery. Can't fault the service!! Blue door,look for the lights on the bush as no signage,plus bus stop right outside. No issues re parking on street.

We had a very spacious room with nice touches and comfortable beds. The bathroom was also extremely well equipped. John is the very sympathetic owner, who managed the wonderful breakfast and gave us lots of advice for exploring Liverpool. The location of the B&B is great. It’s right across from a nice park, not too far from some inviting restaurants and several buses take you to the city center in no time.

So! I am beyond words on this B & B! The location, the communication, the fantastic English breakfast! After already staying at a few places, I just want to pack this place and set it up in each place we need to go! I never want to leave it!John, our host, was quite the information person! We have a map he created for things around here, plus he provided us with an actual map! Don’t even question, just book this place!There are stairs, so if you are looking for accessible, not the place. But we are master of stairs coming from Haifa Israel!

Stayed at Square Tree House B&B with some friends and had a lovely trip! John and Fan take great pride in this property and it shows! They were so welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean and bright. We loved the added touch of gowns, slippers, and face cleansers! We were in walking distance of local restaurants which was perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great host for the property. Its a little out of the way about 20 min walk into town. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was very good too. A great overnight stay for us while going to the Philharmonic to see Bellowhead who were fantastic.

John and his wife were great John is so easy to talk too and the service was very good. The room was big and comfortable and they made every effort to help us as we had a two year old with us shower was brilliant loved it . Breakfast was a cold breakfast no hot food but even my grandson ate loads really nice between the cutlery and China set it was a nice change. The only thing was the stairs but John said the next time we come, and we will, to let him know in advance and we can have the downstairs bedroom. We had a heatwave when we were there and John providedus with a big cooling system even though we never asked thanks John we are definitely going back

Stayed here for our son's graduation. John was a absolute star as through travelling quite a distance, we were able to check in early on the day we arrived. The following day he left us some breakfast boxes as our son had an early graduation and we needed to leave before breakfast service . His communication was second to none with contacting us beforehand and also during our stay. The rooms are lovely and big and with staying on very warm days they were cool to come back into. The B&B itself is situated next to a park, a short walk round the corner to the bus stop which was a 5 min journey to the centre. We also walked it and it was only 25 mins. Would definitely recommend.

What an absolute GEM!!!!!! We loved our stay at Square Tree House from start to finish. Beautiful building filled with mid century treasures.(including the owner, who is a bit of a star, with many an interesting tale to tell😊) Gorgeous crisp white bed linen and huge towels. Bathrobes and slippers give that added luxury.Located within walking distance of both Lark Lane for bars n restaurants and the city centre, yet quiet and peaceful at night, for a restful sleep. Breakfast was a delight, with unexpected treats and beautiful china. John was very accommodating to special requests and extra guest joining us for breakfast (daughter lives in Liverpool) we Loved it and will certainly be back next time we are in Liverpool. Ten out of ten👍😍
