The hostel delivers exactly what it promises. It's a very convenient, affordable and laid-back place to stay in Liverpool, ideal if you're there for the football. The city centre is easy to reach via bus and the stadia are both a walking distance away. There are some eating options in the vicinity, although you might want to go to a more central area for nicer restaurants. There are also many convenience stores and two big supermarkets only a few minutes away for those who prefer cooking their own food. The hostel itself is fine. It's easy to find, clean, and offers lockers where you can safely store your stuff. I'm not the biggest fan of shared bedrooms but was positively surprised about the one I stayed in: it had a small kitchen and each bed had a curtain, which goes a long way if you want some privacy. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made me feel welcome there, shout out to Tim and Isadora. All in all, a perfect option for solo travelers, especially (but not only) if you're there to visit the stadia.

The hostel is very nice and clean. It’s close to both Everton and Anfield stadiums, which is a great advantage, and it’s also near the city center, just 10 minutes by bus. Highly recommended.

I stayed here at this hostel and found the clean, comfortable and convenient, the staff member Fran was extremely helpful and gave me tips where to go places to see. The Wi-Fi worked very good and there was hot water in the bathroom showers the rooms have lockers and there is a communal area which all the people congregate and meet up. I definitely recommend this place and it's good value for money.

What a wonderful hostel! It’s a small family run accommodation, which I always like to support. The people are also lovely, even though it was self check in, I was immediately invited in and offered coffee or tea. There was an issue with my booking and I (woman) was accidentally placed in a room with 5 men (I have a gender neutral name) - Tim was great about this though, and offered to put me in my own room for the night (at no extra charge). This was also wonderful because it meant I got a night to myself after using hostels for the past few weeks :)Aside from the fact that the family is sweet, I wanted to talk about a few things in the accommodations itself which I was impressed with:-the room itself is quite large (I was in a 4 bed room for reference), I’d say about the size of a small studio apartment. Based on previous hostel experience, I had been in smaller accommodations housing more people. Here, there was enough room (even if the room was full) to store their luggage (the under bed bins are huge) and still have space to move around-there was a nearly fully functioning kitchen! I may have missed this is my reservation, but I was so impressed with this. There is also a communal kitchen, but it’s a nice added touch to have a separate space with a fridge, microwave, toaster, oven etc.-there’s also a small dining area! Which again, gives extra space and makes the hostel experience much less crowded-the shower is large and has good pressure and hot water! All too often I’ve found at hostels that either 1) the shower is very tiny and it makes it hard to keep towels and clothes dry 2) the water pressure is not great or the shower head itself is weird or 3) the hot water isn’t really “hot” and it runs out quick. None were the case here, which is a small luxury but a big win!
