We drove to the car park of this premises today as an emergency stop to walk our puppy and dogTo be honest by the general appearance of the property we didn't think it was open!We saw a pleasant grassed area and as we had a young puppy that was crying we thought if we could stop somewhere safe and accessable so he could go to the toilet. We saw another lady with a dog who was already there and picking up her dogs business and thought innocently it would be ok to stop.We meant no harm or disrespect at allBut the owner appeared shouting and screaming at me (the female) obviously an easy target, despite the fact my husband was also there !!If he'd explained calmly we were on private land and shouldn't be there we would have completly understood. However I did appologise repeatedly, with no rudeness or agression returnedHe has to be one of the rudest people I have ever met, despite the fact I apologised several times as we obviously made a mistake, I was met with aggression and bad language !What an awful man and the very last place I'd ever stay in !An unfunny faulty towers, AVOID

The welcome we had was fabulous and made us feel so welcome. The food was beautiful and definitely home cooked. We had a lovely chat with the proprietor who told us and gave us knowledge of where to visit which we adhered to. Would most definitely recommend this establishment to anyone

We popped in for dinner and we were so glad we chose the Vintage as we had a delicious meal prepared freshly for us and beautifully presented. The hospitality was second to none and added to the quality of the food made our visit very pleasurable.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we weren't sure whether to go in or not as the outside could do with a lick of paint.  …
