An excellent base for exploring the Kielder area. Warm welcome despite being delayed. All mod cons available to make for ease of catering etc. Children loved pool room. Bellingham itself had more to offer than expected also - pubs, cafes, shops, takeaways etc

Everything very organized and clean. Digital key, shower and heater. I couldn't turn on the heater. But I loved it.

Was an absolute pleasure staying for 2 nights. The owners were very polite and the guest rooms were spacious, very clean and tidy. Private bathrooms had a standing shower with good water temperature and water pressure. The Brown Rigg Lodge is located right next to Bellingham, so the drive to the local shops and to the Hareshaw Linn Walk is only a maximum of 5 minutes.100% would recommend to family and friends, and I would definitely come again in the future.

Exceptionally clean beautiful bedding extras like a place to put hot items like hair straighter and tv controls were in a new plastic bag to maintain cleanliness. The shared facilities including kitchen were also outstanding. …

I stayed in these apartments which were clean and tidy. However the party of people with dogs that were staying too completely spoilt the experience. Their dogs constantly backed across the way from 5.15am and then again until 11.30 pm. we had dogs in our car but were asked to park in the lower car park so not to disturb anyone! I asked the managers wife if she could have a word with them. i told her that we were enjoying our stay but couldn't stand the barking.I think she must have told her husband i was rude to her which i was not! AS within minutes we had a very angry manger stomping into our lodge shouting for Angie and telling our group he was pissed off i had upset his wife on the phone. He was completely unreasonable when i arrived and i have to tell him many times to stop pointing at me and one of my party had to tell him to calm down. He was rude and unprofessional i would not ever stay at these loges again. please be aware if you do stay not to complain about anything unless you wish to be verbally abused.

Absolutely wonderful place in beautiful countryside surroundings. Facilities are excellent and well kept. Catering is excellent, with freshly cooked food and ample portions. I was attending a Wedding celebration weekend in my caravan and the service from the Owners was incredible.
