The two of us spent two nights here in two rooms on a business trip at the beginning of November.Positive: Clean and sufficiently large rooms in a nice design, comfortable slightly firmer beds, absolutely good location - city center and docks within a few minutes walk, friendly staff, good value for money, breakfast is offered to order - there is no buffet , bar in the hotelNegative: Both rooms were quite cold when you first entered, one didn't get really warm during your stay, the shower hose in one room was broken and leaking, the windows in the rooms were very dirty, service at breakfast was a bit slow, glasses at the breakfast table were very dirtyOverall, despite the negative points, we would book here again because the positive points outweigh the negative ones.

Nice hotel in Liverpool. We stayed with our two children in a Groupie room. The fold out bed was a bit lumpy but the other beds were comfortable. Staff very helpful. Definitely avoid eating next door at the Duck and Swagger. …

The hotel is not what we expected - definitely a boutique hotel, with lots of rock related posters throughout. I had booked it for my mum's 80th birthday trip not realising the above.  …

Cool rock decor, nice hotel and good location in an up-and-coming area, close to entertainment district and docks. Good with the corner rooms which mean large double rooms. Don't eat breakfast here though! …

Staff were great and helpful but the hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre so be prepared. Unsure if it was just our room but... no air conditioning left the place a bit stuffy, crack a window and turn on the pedistal fan when you check in to cool it down, unless you like to sleep in a pool of your own sweat. Speaking of sleeping, the bed.. the thinnest mattress I've ever had the displeasure to sleep on, Imagine a slice of cheese on a burger made of a brick and you're not far off. Oh and the decision to have the bathroom sink outside of the actual bathroom is baffling...

Quirky hotel with lots of great visuals! We stayed in room 52 on a Sunday night and absolutely loved it. We checked in late, got a good deal, and Mustafar was incredibly friendly and welcoming (asset to the hotel I'd say). The hotel is just around the corner from my son's uni digs, so we’ll definitely be returning!
