We stayed in the room at the very top. It had a window built into a sloping roof. I am 6 ft 3 and could just about make out a sea view from it. My wife is five ft nothing so had no hope. …

My stay was the first week in march, still very much winter in the north east.After a day on site at work I’d go back to the lakeside where,the room was cold, the radiator too small for the room size and gave off little to no heat. Even after I’d turned it up.The shower barley warm and soon went cold.I’d sleep in my car before I stayed at the lakeside again.

When I checked in the manager was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, warm, basic but had everything I needed. The hotel was quiet and I had no problem parking. The location was perfect for my needs. Would and will be staying again.

Nicely located near beach and restaurants you receive a friendly welcome on arrival.||Room was clean , shower water nice and hot , plenty of tea and coffee and the room was warm.||Not luxurious of course but then nor was the price point. Overall reccommended.

Comfortable bed in a clean room. I like the location, being so close to the sea, and also being able to go to the Redcar train station to catch a train to visit nearby Saltburn to see the pier and walk along the coastal path with the fantastic scenery and pubs.

Stayed for 3 nights on a room only basis. Irene & Ray were really great. Irene’s communication with us leading up to our stay was excellent and Ray made us feel extremely welcome on arrival. Lovely, clean en-suite room overlooking the sea. |Would definitely recommend.
