Well… where shall I start- we arrived to the reception where some staff/guests were shoving a rat out of the building. Car park dimly lit with markings worn out. My partner’s sister stood in dog crap when getting out of the car.  …

Unacceptable full of drug users who seem to have the run of the hotel. Staff were young women who clearly didn’t care or felt unable to put a stop to the behaviour of these separate male guests but the police should be called when they …

But wouldn’t stay again, rats all over, the rooms stunk, smelt like weed in the hallway. Wasn’t the cleaness of rooms.

The room felt and smelled damp on entry. There was black mould around the window recess. The windows were so wet the water pooled on the sill. Even leaving the windows open all day did not clear the wetness. It was too cold and noisy to leave the window open at night.

So, I thought I was getting a bargain when I booked a room for £37.. turns out, I got robbed and thrown into possibly the worst room in the existence of hotel rooms... Burn holes in curtains and the bath was dwarfed by the sink!!

The travelodge itself was spotless, and the staff lovely & helpful. The surrounding area is tired & scruffy, in need of a serious face-lift!

This hotel is very conveniently situated near major roads. There are places to eat close by. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was very pleasant.
