Back in March 2020 I had a 2 day training booked for the hospital so was happy to find somewhere cheap and nice to stay. Booked an spacious ensuit and booked confirmed over the phone and email by a lady. Got there and was told my room was no longer available. Instead I had to stay in a much smaller room and had to share the bathroom in the hallway. TV in my wasn`t working. No caffetieres in rooms contrary to the photos. Phoned the mobile number of the lady who confirmed teh booking and a guy answered. I complained about the downgrade and I was told that there was a problem with the room I originally booked. I complained about paying the same amount for smaller room and he basically told me I wouldn`t be getting any reduction in price but I could get a discount if I ever stayed there again. Menawhile he tried to fix the TV and could not make it work. In the evening I see a young couple going onto large the room I was supposed to stay in. I "confronted" the guy again and then he said "oh, thats the owners son and his girlfrient, they are staying for the for a couple of days."The shared bathroom and used was not very clean and there was a dirty towel hanging by the sink. Overall I did not have a good experience and felt powerless as the owner did not show her face for me to complain and instead sent someone who did not look like he even knew how totie his shoe laces. The decor was nice which is their main selling strengh. Apart from that I`d rather stay in a caravan park.

What a wonderful woman Pav is! Stayed here for a week following surgery before travelling home and she made both my partner and I feel incredibly welcome. She was very accommodating, friendly and went out of her way to help us, even picking me up from the hospital once I was discharged.Pav looked after my partner who became unwell too. The room was lovely, clean, tidy and had nice decor. We were close to the bathroom which was also clean and tidy. Pav’s guest house is excellent value for money and she is a wonderful host. Thank you for making our stay so stress free and wonderful. I cannot begin to to thank Pav for making this such a stress free experience. I 100% preferred staying here than at a hotel. The other guests were whisper quiet and we never had issues with anything or anyone. It was great to be able to come and go as we pleased, as my partner enjoys exploring. There is a Co-op about 20 mins away as well as a few take out places if that suits your fancy and Pav was fine with us having food in the room so long as we took out our rubbish and didn’t cause a mess. She’s completely welcoming, friendly and very kind.Pav, thank you for all you did for us and for welcoming us into your home and making our stay so easy :)

This is the second time in two years that I’ve decided to stay at this place. The friendly host greeted us at the door and showed us to our room. The room is quite spacious, well decorated and even has the Amazon fire stick which proved to be very useful. Plenty of space for parking and a clean and calm environment made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Wasent good really, its like a shares house basically with rooms on booking.com like a hotel but its far from. Not a nice experience at all. Will not be staying there again!
