It felt pretty much like an incomplete project. It had so much potential like the bathrooms were completed to a very high standard however the rooms and the lobby and even the reception was literally not completed. If it is a 24-hour reception, why is there a door in front of it saying "staff only"? This led to me being lost a few times trying to find the place. Also, I felt really embarrassed as I was given a keycard for room 36 and this was not my room at all, I was actually meant to be in room 44! I don't particularly understand why in the lobby you had this red carpet and then further towards the reception you had literally skirting board as the flooring? The shower looked stunning except the temperature gauge wasn't working. This led to a very cold shower. The bed? No. Too thin a mattress and you need to teach the cleaning staff to clean UNDER the mattress. I do advice you to check any mattress and you'll see it covered in hair, dead skin, and insects. The noise. Like, what?! It was ridiculous. I am profoundly deaf but with the hearing aids on it literally sounds like a horror film! That doorbell buzzing, the random screaming and doors banging and people trying to get into your room and banging on walls. It's fair to say I didn't sleep all that well. It felt like a very cold place, there was no love in that building and it showed. Vending machines were not switched on and even so it was coin-operated and not contactless. No window in the room. It felt very stuffy and the air conditioning was....it was clearly built for a bigger room !

Enjoyed our stay here, we booked at very short notice, and it met our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were available at all hours. The room was quite basic but comfortable. It definitely had more character than a Travelodge! And the self contained apartment style gave us a lot of freedom to come & go as we pleased and cater for ourselves.
