The food is very tasty and the chap who normally serves is very personable. However, we did have a very disappointing Sunday lunch mainly due to the awful service. …

Fabulous old Georgian pub/hotel renovated in a traditional style which I much prefer to the ultra modern but empheral refurbs of so many hotels in Old buildings .The staff were very friendly and helpful , and the meals we had were the best on our Norfolk tour. A bit pricey, but well worth it.Although it is the middle of nowhere , the hotel was completely full, and I enjoyed the isolation . Going for a walk in the pitch black night (no street lights here!) was really atmospheric , with the creatures of the night doing their thing . The animals just over the wall in the nearby Wolterton Estate were also hugely entertaining .Highly recommended.

Checked out this morning after spending 3 nights at this B&B. It's in the middle of nowhere but it is quaint and the surrounding area is picturesque. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Tim and their staff are lovely, made me feel very welcome and looked after me my whole stay. Breakfast and evening meals are delicious... I highly recommend the rump steak. It is probably the best steak I've ever eaten!! I'm definitely going to rebook when I return to Norfolk

Sunday lunch here tasted as if my own gramother had cooked it. Locally sourced beef was superb. Delightful chap on the bar and busy everywhere else looked after us as did the other staff. Would definitely recommend. Fantastic courtyard tobthe rear if the house too for drinks or eating if you chose alfresco. Dog friendly.
