A tuk tuk driver took us thereWe left the hotel that we had booked with Booking and the receptionist simply told us that she would release the room without penalty. We accepted of course. The only available room that we supposedly rented was like a chicken coop and worse. A Tuk Tuk driver brought us here for 50 baht. We were in a bad situation and had to find a room for the night. This hotel certainly had its best days decades ago. Nothing has been renovated for a long time. The reception was very good. Room 301 was assigned to us for 600 baht with 200 baht deposit. There is an elevator and two exercise machines on the second floor. No coffee in the room. It was filthy but the double bed was clean and quite comfortable. The wifi on the third floor did not work either AYUTTHAVA3. The young man on duty played with the router a bit and put me on wifi with the Airlive4 network on the fourth floor with the same password and everything worked fine after that. We had an old television from the 80s with several channels, some in English including Fox news. The air conditioning system worked well but was from the Stone Age. We don't know if what came out was healthy air, but we doubt it. Our night was calm and peaceful and we were not disturbed by anything. The carpet is horrible and dirty. The furniture is made of wood and dates back a very long time. There were a few mosquitoes in our room but they did not disturb our sleep. We had a mini fridge. The shower curtain was absolutely outdated and fit to be thrown away in its heart-raising filth. We had a mini bar of soap that we lost down the sink hole and some shampoo. We bought a bar of soap to solve our problem. The hotel is located a reasonable distance from the noisy street which is an asset for sleeping well. We are still happy to have slept here in the context but we absolutely do not recommend this hotel. We offer you photos.Review written on January 18, 2019 at Ayutthaya Thanee hotel, Ayutthaya, Thailand.

This hotel is very affordable. We have 2 queen beds for 550 baht. The air conditioner is very good. Wall needs painting. Beds are okay. Would come back again. They provide breakfast: Chinese bun, chhaquai, and coffee.

Took one look inside room and demanded money back. Filthy walls, base of bed torn to pieces and Gekko's running around the walls. No wonder there were no other guests!! I can only imagine what the food from the kitchen would be like if this is the kind of hygiene standards on offer.

This is a good hotel in Ayutthaya, a tourist city, where you can keep accommodation costs down, but it is a little far from tourist spots, and apart from two convenience stores near the hotel, there are few stalls and …

Stayed in this hotel whilst working in Thailand in 2011.||||All of the staff seemed to be very helpful and local shops are just next door. Limited restaurants in the area mean that for food you are better off taking a Tuc Tuc and heading in town,||||Value budget hotel that is exactly what it says on the tin.
