Even though we used mobile check-in at 13.00, it turned out that when we arrived at the hotel the room was not ready, we had to wait until 15.30 to be able to enter the room. While waiting for the room, we finally went to Pratunam using BTS because the hotel was close to BTS. my NUA was approved and I got the Marvelous Suite Room (from Wonderful Guest Room). As a Titanium Elite, I got free late check-out until 16.00 and free breakfast as a welcome gift. Because it was my first time at W Bangkok, I was given an additional 1,000 bonus points as an additional welcome gift. There is no lounge at W so they gave me a free voucher for 2 drinks at the bar. At check-in, a welcome drink was also provided, fresh iced tea. W Bangkok has a famous dining restaurant, namely Sathorn House. The lobby is aesthetic with blue mood lights and lots of artwork decorating it, the public bathroom is also very beautiful with a touch of gold mosaic.The room itself is very spacious, there is a foyer with seating and a table, a powder room with a washbasin and a closet. Then the living room with a work table and chairs, a minibar, a sofa, a pouch and a coffee table. The bedroom only has a mattress and a pouch and a small table. The mattress is comfortable and soft and very suitable for resting with 4 pillows. The view is not good, only to the next building. The TV is big but looks small because the room is spacious. The wifi is also smooth and fast. All room controls use a tablet, both lights, air conditioning, and the do not disturb button. The tea uses TWG while the coffee uses coffee capsules. For W Bangkok itself, I think the interior is a bit masculine with lots of dark colors.The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub with a TV, a washbasin with 2 taps, a shower with a rain shower and a closet. Unfortunately, the closet is not a Japanese closet with a heater and buttons. For amenities, use the standard W hotel, namely Momo. I and Momo myself are not very good because even though it smells good, it has a plastic aftertaste.The facilities include a gym, spa, swimming pool, bar, and the Sathorn House restaurant. The gym is spacious, complete, and for drinks there is bottled ginger ice. The swimming pool is not too spacious but aesthetic and there are 2 bags used for sunbathing in the pool. The bar is aesthetic but only for adults and is very crowded at night. The drink menu can be seen in the photo. I myself chose a mocktail served with olives and nuts, the mocktail was refreshing.In the morning we had breakfast. For W there is always an A-la Carte and Buffet menu. It tastes good and has many variants, but because I have tried W Hong Kong and W Singapore, W Bangkok still feels far compared to other W (the price is also better than other W so please understand) A-la carte options:1. Various types of egg dishes, kimchi porridge, guay jub yuan, vegetarian and Indian menus,2. Various types of drinks ranging from signature coco latte, tea and various coffeesThe Buffet menu includes:1. Gluten free corner, marble cake, madelaine, almond cracker, bakery and pastry2. Waffle, pancake, salad, nuts, cheese, cold cut, juice, Thai tea, green tea, cereal, yoghurt3. Bircher muesli, sweets, fruit, Thai steamed bread, Thai desserts4. In conclusion, it's the best hotel.First of all, the front desk. The welcome drink, fruit tea, has a sweetness that goes well with the hot Thai weather and is very delicious. W, which is ranked high among Marriott hotels, has very friendly staff and is very comfortable. And above all, the lobby smells nice. In the elevator hall, there is a wall of rumored tuk-tuk tail lamps. I feel Thailand.Room. We had balloons spread out on the welcome back. The hospitality is also good. The room is very spacious and you can see the BTS and Bangkok cityscape from the window. The bathtub is spacious and has good water pressure. W Bangkok provided good service and luxury facilities during our stay, we definitely had wonderful time there. When we arrived the hotel we received warm welcome from front desk staffs Crystal Chan and Miss Kanya, their passion and customer care really impressed me.

Arrive at 15.30 and the room is not ready, need to wait for 40min, but reception is kind enough to treat us with drink from the lounge menu. Room is spacious and comfy. Pool i has great view of the highrise building. Breakfast is marvelous not only in various selection but tasty too. I love the congee the most.

A great stay but I think it could be better.Booked the W for a layover stay in Bangkok. It was my second stay at the W Bangkok. Spoiler alert, it was my first time getting a suite upgrade as a platinum member in Bangkok - I’ve never received a suite upgrade at the Athenee even though I’ve spent a few weeks (cumulative) at that property this year (but can’t really blame them due to their high occupancy rate). I was genuinely surprised when they agreed to assign a studio suite pre-arrival.I was supposed to stay for three nights but I had to cut it short to one night due to work commitments. I arrived at the hotel at around 7.30 am, which was much earlier than anticipated. The welcome desk agent assigned a temporary room for me to get some rest first as the suite was not yet available. I really appreciate her effort as I wasn’t able to get much sleep during my flight from Australia.The suite was ready at around 3.30 pm. While the studio suite is on the smaller end, I really like having lots of windows and natural lights in the room. They also prepared some fruits and welcome gifts in the room. However, the room was starting to show its age and there were some faulty equipment in the room. An annoying thing was that there was a buzzing sound from the toilet all night long but I couldn’t be bothered to request a room change in the middle of the night. The noise from the BTS was quite clear as well even though my room was on the 29th floor but I don’t think it can be readily fixed at this point.Their breakfast spread may be a bit limited as well, when compared to some properties around the same price point (including the Kimpton, or the Athenee). However, I think the food was quite delicious, especially their pastries and drink of the day. While I know that they have to accomodate different dietary requirements, I hope that they could expand a bit on the options for Thai cuisine.The Wet Deck is excellent if you like the W’s bold use of colours and design. The House on Sathorn is very beautiful as well and I think every guest should visit the bar/Paii at least once throughout the stay. I spent a voucher at the W Lounge as well. It was a Sunday so it was nice and quiet.Overall, I feel like their service may not be as polished as the Athenee / Sindhorn. With that being said, there were some exceptional staff around the property as well, such as the welcome desk agent (sorry I forgot to get her name), the host and hostess at The Kitchen Table, Wow/Wau (sorry if I misspelled his name) from the concierge, the hostess and the bartender at W Lounge, and those from the Wet Deck. I was particularly amazed by the service provided by Wow/Wau when he was helping me with the luggage when I moved into the suite.Also, they did a fantastic job on the service recovery when I briefly mentioned about the toilet sound during checkout. I got a business card from the Welcome Desk manager and she got me some gifts as well. I had similar issues at other properties but I must say I was surprised by their quick responses. Tbh, I was going to cross off W from my list in Bangkok but ended up thinking of moving my reservation here in the near future.

Please be careful as the location is displayed incorrectly on Google Maps and you may have trouble using Grab, taxi, or tuk tuk.If you choose The house of sathorn as your destination, you will arrive at the hotel entrance without any problems.The area is located in the financial district, a little far from the center, but there are many delicious restaurants nearby.Also, from a Japanese perspective, the sauna was quite nice, so I was happy.

I would like to tell you about my experience when staying at W Hotel. First of all, the interior is very sophisticated and has a stylish atmosphere. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the sophisticated design. When I entered the room, I was greeted with a modern and stylish interior that made me feel comfortable and able to enjoy my time there. In particular, the view from our room window was amazing and we were able to relax while enjoying the view of the city.The pool within the hotel is also one of its attractions. The spacious pool was clean and had a comfortable water temperature, making it the perfect place to refresh yourself. Spending time relaxing by the pool made me forget the busyness of everyday life. In addition, there was a fully equipped gym, and I was very happy that there was a punching bag for kickboxing. As someone like me who doesn't usually get enough exercise, it was appealing to have equipment that would allow me to enjoy training.Moreover, it has very convenient access to Icon Siam, making it the perfect location for shopping. It's about a 20 minute walk away, so it's easy to get there. Iconsiam has a wide variety of shops, making it a must-see spot for shopping lovers. I think one of the great appeals of W Hotels is that you can return to the hotel and relax after enjoying your shopping.Overall, our stay at the W Hotel was very satisfactory. With stylish rooms, a wonderful pool, a convenient location, and plenty of training facilities, I was able to spend a relaxing yet active time. I can't wait for my next visit.
