We attended a friend’s wedding by the lake, everything was well organized, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The breakfast options were excellent. It's a wonderful resort to stay in Ninh Binh, highly recommended.

Everything was superb: the space, landscape, greenery, fresh air, spacious and clean rooms, as well as the friendly and polite staff. Each village area has a small swimming pool. The resort features a large outdoor swimming pool and an indoor pool (I've heard the indoor pool has heated water in winter). Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. However, the air conditioner in my room seemed a bit old and noisy. The WiFi was not stable. I hope the resort management will address these issues soon.

Emaralda Ninh Binh. Was is a hidden gem nestled in the mountains. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning scenery and the crisp, fresh air. The cabin-style rooms are cozy and well-appointed, with large windows offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The resort is the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking trails starting right from the property. I particularly enjoyed the guided nature walks, where knowledgeable guides shared insights about the local flora and fauna. After a day of exploring, the spa was the perfect place to unwind. The hot stone massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The only downside was the limited dining options on-site, but the quality of the food made up for it. The farm-to-table organic restaurant, Anoop and team made our diner uncomfortable experience , served delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. I would like to Thanks to Anoop to the made our great holiday in Emaralda Ninh Binh and he was great team leader and follow up with us and other guest as well always friendly smile and supportive gentleman anyone to travel to Emaralda highly recommended the place all day Relax and feeling rejuvenated and at peace. We really enjoyed our stay at the Emeralda. We had a lovely large room with upstairs bedroom for our son which he loved. The gardens are lovely and we liked the quiet location of the resort. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Staff were helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was fabulous and there was an indoor pool which we used because of the heat.

We stayed in this resort for one night and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The rooms are very large, the bathroom enormous and the outdoor shower a pure bliss. The gardens are beautifully designed, breakfast very enjoyable and in the restaurant near the pool we got fantastic and attentive service and delicious food at dinner. I would stay here again when in the area!

This is an excellent resort set on the edge of the wet lands of inland Vietnam. The Resort is about 2 and 1/2 hrs drive South from Hanoi. It is also about 1/2hr drive from Tam Coc and Trang An rivers. Units are set in small groups around a small but adequate swimming pool and are beautifully designed with amazing carvings. The Deluxe units have a large rear patio looking over a private garden. Even the bathroom looks over the garden. There is also a close by wetland where locals will take you for a ride in small row boats. There is also a separate large outdoor swimming pool and an indoor one for the cooler months. The resort organizes tours to the river and temples areas. Both not to be missed. This area is a better experience than Ha Long bay.

We stayed two nights in April in a large, well equiped villa with a small, virtually private pool - most welcome in the mini heatwave the area was experiencing. As there were 3 of us staying in one room we had booked an extra bed which, unusually, was really comfy. There were very few guests during our stay, we often felt we had the resort and it's beautiful gardens to ourselves, so much so that we were treated to an a la carte breakfast on our second morning as there were not enough of us to warrant the buffet. Massages at the Spa were fantastic and sundowners by the main pool before dinner were a highlight. The food was fabulous as was the service which was our experience throughout our trip to Vietnam. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to the Emeralda.

The room, the place is so beautiful with traditional and cultural style art from Ninh Binh. It is fully-equipped with everything the guest needs, very comfortable bed (a bit old and has noise), the room is not really noise isolation but still fine. There are many points for a good photos and really peaceful. The negative points are staffs when the hotel has reputation already and the staffs have been working for so long, so the customer service is not really good at all. I ask for a late check-out just a little bit because of sickness and it is 40 degrees outside, but the reception did not check for occupancy yet and denided immediately. So we ok with that, but at exactly that time she called bellman to our door and escorted us out, i think it is really rush for a holiday, meanwhile it is not that crowded and they have a lot of rooms to switch. Other than that the sales person Nhan is really rude to Vietnamese guest when I made a call to her. I think they should be more gentle and “think” for services even if they have reputation already. The resort is really nice which doesnt deserve to receive negative review.

The pool by our room was clean and temperate and not busy so we were able to have a private swim. The larger pool by the restaurant and spa was busier. We got massages and facials at the spa. They have a good menu of massage and facial care. Nguyen was terrific! The bar is a nice place to enjoy a "bia" and sit to look at the sunset.

Really lovely setting for this stay and nice pool. Rooms were nice and some guests on our tour benefitted from the free buggy/shuttle service. Food in the restaurant and breakfast were lovely and plentiful. We rented a karaoke room, which was fun. Some wildlife around given the natural setting.

We did the trang an , hoa lu and pagoda with Zum . He was so knowledgeable and made the trip fun . We learnt so much and had a great day with him . Highly recommend a day trip with him . Trang an and pagoda was amazing . We rode bikes through Van long village which was special . Only negative for hotel is expensive to eat and drink and bikes should have been free in such a place .
