Lovely hotel next to the river so Lovely views from restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfortable with very modern bathrooms. Food was good though not much fruit at the buffet breakfast. A short cab ride or long walk, around 1.8 km o to town centre.

It is a better modern hotel in Ha Giang mountainous city. 2km milestone to downtown is before the hotel. The picture in google map looks nice. The hotel overlook Lo river. The long distance bus station is near the hotel in walking distance. The motorbike rental stores can be found in walking distance. In the city there are only two 4* hotel. it has more elevators and the staff use a separate one. It is also a Day 0 hotel before/after your Ha Giang Road trip. Another 4* hotel located in the downtown. For the breakfast, it follows the international standard. It is still like the government hotel. The hotel has some atmosphere/smell at the lobby. The garage is big for cars and motorcycles parking. The elevators can reach from the garage to guest floors. It is good to book with the Booking/Agoda. At Ha Giang, there are not many choice for big hotels. Many westerns went to the road trip and stay at the hostels. Some tour group will stay in the 4* hotels.

Très bel hôtel pour un certain type de clientèle qui recherche le confort. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Magnifique vue sur la rivière et la campagne. Beau jardin. Sans doute l'hôtel le plus luxueux de Ha Giang. Buffet petit déjeuner continental varié pour les goûts.

I liked the Phoenix hotel. It is not a mega hotel as you would find in a capital; city but it is a proper Vietnam travel experience. The good - friendly staff who are only reserved because we don't speak Vietnamese and they don't speak English but the chap at reception does have reasonable English. The bed was huge, view over the river, clean and nice bathroom with shower. Aircon is very good. The breakfast is massive with a choice of Pho which is made fresh in an open kitchen or rice rolls - ban cuon were both good. Large selection of fruits an d other things and also some rolls margarine and marmalade if you are not going Vietnamese. We ate out in various noodle bars for other meals which were delicious. There is a pool in the basement of the B block which is huge and then goes outside, as you look at reception turn left (it was shut as they were renewing the terrace). There is a gym (small no Aircon) on 3rd floor of B block) As I say - fond of this place

Onze Ha Giang Loop begon en eindigde bij het Phoenix Hotel in Ha Giang. Een wat lomp gebouw, net buiten de plaats. Voor de bussen een handige locatie. De kamers waren goed en schoon, lekker geslapen met een romantisch uitzicht op rivier de Loo en de in de mist gelegen bergen. Het ontbijt was goed. De laatste avond bij het hotel lekker gegeten aan de rivier, daarvoor nog even gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Local Vietnam had voor ons een prachtige reis samengesteld, dit hotel zat in de package.

This is a decent hotel with lovely views. Rooms are reasonably comfortable and the beds not too hard. The breakfast room is set up for large groups with mostly huge tables. They have room service. It is outside of town, so not as convenient for eating out in the evening.

Hôtel bien placé chambre spacieuse mais très mal insonorisée aux bruits de la rue. Jolie terrasse qui donne sur la rivière mais attention aux moustiques 😂 Petit déjeuner pas terrible du tout: les fruits sont desséchés, le café surcuit sur la plaque, pain et douceurs toutes séches

Les prestations ne sont pas au niveau.Au bar il y a des personnes assises qui ne consomment pas, et vous n’avez pas le choix de vous asseoir sur les canapés. Ils proposent des whisky et autres alcools mais il n’y a pas de carte donc vous ne connaissez pas les prix. Après l’apéritif nous allons au restaurant et ils sont très surpris que l’on leur demande la carte des vins.Il n’y a pas de carte des vins. Il faut redescendre au bar pour choisir son vin. Et là surprise c’est vous qui ouvrez votre bouteille. Le repas si on peut dire que c’est 3 côtes d’agneau il y en avait 2.

Really nice double room for $60 USD. Laundry done in 5hrs. Air-conditioning, WiFi, reasonably priced in-house restaurant with gluten free food, huge breakfast buffet of traditional foods (but you better be there before 7am), great riverside view. Great place to decompress after the 3-day road tour loop.
