Ingredients List
-
1 cup soy sauce
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
2 cloves garlic, crushed
-
1 tablespoon ground ginger
-
1 tablespoon ground cumin
-
1 tablespoon roasted red chili paste
-
6 (1-inch thick) pork chops
-
cooking spray
Instructions
-
Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cumin, and chili paste in a large, resealable plastic bag. Press the bag to mix the ingredients well and dissolve the sugar.
-
Add pork chops to the bag, seal, and marinate for 30 to 45 minutes.
-
Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grill grate.
-
Remove the pork chops from the marinade, discarding the marinade. Shake off any excess liquid, then grill the chops for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
