Instructions
Prepare all ingredients before you begin.

In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves (about 1 minute). Let the mixture cool down.

Combine the carrots, radishes, and onions in a bowl. Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the vegetables and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. While the vegetables soak, position an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat and preheat the broiler. Lightly oil a slotted broiler pan.

Season the chicken breast with garlic salt and pepper.
