Beer & Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Ingredients List
-
2 (16 ounce) beef sirloin steaks
-
¼ cup dark beer
-
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
-
2 tablespoons brown sugar
-
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
-
Preheat the grill to high heat.
-
Using a fork, prick the surface of the steaks, then place them in a large baking dish. In a bowl, mix together the beer, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this marinade over the steaks and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Season with half of the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let the steaks marinate for an additional 10 minutes. Flip the steaks over and season with the remaining salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Marinate for another 10 minutes.
-
Take the steaks out of the marinade. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan, bring it to a boil, and simmer for a few minutes.
-
Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the steaks for 7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the final minutes of grilling, baste the steaks with the boiled marinade to enhance flavor and maintain juiciness.
