Blue Cheese-Stuffed Burgers

Ingredients Needed

3 pounds lean ground beef

½ cup minced fresh chives

4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

1 teaspoon dry mustard
-
¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce

12 hamburger buns, split
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chives, crumbled blue cheese, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, mustard, and hot sauce. Mix thoroughly until well blended, then cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before cooking.
When you're ready to grill, preheat the outdoor grill to high heat and lightly grease the grill grate.
Take the beef mixture out of the fridge and shape it into 12 even patties.
Grill the patties on the preheated grill until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center shows at least 160°F (71°C), approximately 5 minutes per side. Place on hamburger buns to serve.
