Cajun-Spiced Pork Chops
Ingredients List
-
¼ cup all-purpose flour
-
1 tablespoon paprika
-
1 teaspoon ground sage
-
1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
-
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
4 (1/2 inch thick) boneless pork chops
-
2 teaspoons olive oil
Cooking Instructions
-
Combine flour, paprika, sage, Creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and garlic powder in a large resealable plastic bag. Add the pork chops, seal the bag, and shake to coat the meat evenly.
-
Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat for about 1 minute. Add the pork chops to the pan, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side until the chops are dark brown and cooked through.
Reminder
If the pork chops are browning too quickly, reduce the heat slightly and extend the cooking time by a couple of minutes on each side.
