Cheddar-Stuffed Turkey Meatloaf

1 pound ground turkey

1 egg

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

¾ cup dry bread crumbs

½ teaspoon adobo seasoning

1 pinch salt

1 pinch pepper

¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided (Optional)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, parsley, breadcrumbs, adobo seasoning, and salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Press half of the turkey mixture into the bottom of the loaf pan. Place 1/2 cup of cheese in a mound down the center, then top with the remaining turkey mixture to form a loaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, until browned and cooked through. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking. Let the meatloaf rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
