Chinese Style Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients Needed
-
2 (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloins, trimmed
-
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
-
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
-
1 tablespoon sherry
-
1 tablespoon black bean sauce
-
1 ½ teaspoons minced fresh ginger
-
1 ½ teaspoons packed brown sugar
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
½ teaspoon sesame oil
-
1 pinch five-spice powder
Instructions
-
In a shallow dish, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sherry, black bean sauce, ginger, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and five-spice powder. Add the pork tenderloins and turn them to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Once the oven is preheated, take the pork tenderloins out of the refrigerator. Remove the tenderloins from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
-
Place the pork in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cooked to your desired level. Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing it thinly on the diagonal.
