Classic Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients Needed

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's®)

salt and ground black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

1 (16 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms

1 pint sour cream
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles in the boiling water until al dente, around 7 to 9 minutes. Drain and set aside.

While the noodles are cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess grease, then season with Greek seasoning, salt, and pepper.

In a separate skillet, heat some vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir the mushrooms into the beef mixture.

Stir in the sour cream and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5 minutes. Serve the beef and mushroom mixture over the prepared egg noodles.
