⅔ cup low sodium soy sauce

⅓ cup white vinegar

1 bay leaf
Cooking Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken pieces on each side, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Once golden, transfer the chicken to a plate and set it aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened and lightly browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Add soy sauce and vinegar, then season with garlic powder, black pepper, and a bay leaf.
Place the chicken back in the pan, raise the heat to high, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
