Classic Ozarks-Style Meatloaf

1 pound pork sausage

3 eggs

½ cup ketchup

1 cup fresh bread crumbs

salt and ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons ketchup
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, sausage, eggs, 1/2 cup ketchup, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until fully incorporated. Transfer the mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Spread 2 tablespoons of ketchup on top.

Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until cooked through. Be sure to drain any excess fat occasionally to reduce splattering. Serve and enjoy!
