Instructions

Combine water, cornmeal, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the mixture becomes thick, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Cooking Suggestions
For a cereal, scoop the mush into bowls and top with milk and sugar, if preferred.
For frying, pour the mixture into a loaf pan and let it chill thoroughly. Once chilled, remove from the pan, slice, and fry in a little oil over medium-high heat until golden and crispy on both sides. Serve with your favorite sauce.
