Creamy Chicken Alfredo Casserole

3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 (8 ounce) package penne pasta

½ (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

¼ cup milk

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Cooking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the chicken in a pot and add enough water to cover it. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 11 minutes, or until al dente. Drain the pasta once done.
Once the chicken is cooked, drain it and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

Combine chicken, pasta, Alfredo sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.

Transfer the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Chef’s Tip
Feel free to use any medium-sized pasta you prefer, such as ziti or large elbow macaroni.
If you're using the remaining half of a jar of Alfredo sauce, add some milk to the jar and swirl it around to get all of the sauce out.
