-
⅓ cup vegetable oil
-
1 pound round steak
-
2 eggs
-
½ cup milk
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour for coating
Cooking Instructions
-
Use a meat mallet to tenderize the steak, then cut it into 3-inch strips.
-
In a shallow dish, whisk together egg, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
-
Heat 1/3 cup oil (or enough to coat the bottom of the pan) in a large skillet over medium heat.
-
Dredge the steak strips in flour, shaking off excess, then dip them in the egg mixture, and coat again with flour.
-
Fry the coated steak strips in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
