Crockpot Green Bean Casserole

2 (16 ounce) packages frozen cut green beans

2 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup

⅔ cup milk

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions, divided
Instructions
In a slow cooker, combine green beans, cream of soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and half of the French-fried onions from the can.
Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 6 hours. Once done, sprinkle the remaining French-fried onions on top before serving.
Chef's Tips
This recipe comfortably served eight adults and three kids.
Feel free to experiment with different spices; I sometimes add onion powder and Italian herbs for extra flavor.
You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for the cream of chicken soup if preferred.
To keep the fried onions crispy, leave the lid off the slow cooker after serving.
