Cuban-Style Yuca Dish

Ingredients Needed

2 pounds yuca, peeled and sliced lengthwise

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup olive oil

½ onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Place the yuca in a pot and add enough water to fully cover it. Stir in some salt, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the yuca is tender. Drain the water and transfer the yuca to a serving dish.

In a separate pan, combine olive oil, onion, garlic, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
