Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and brown the noodles in the butter.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned noodles, rice, soup mix, broth, water chestnuts, and soy sauce. Stir to combine, then transfer to the prepared casserole dish.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the top is golden and crispy.
