Garlic-Butter Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Cooking Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
Gently wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Carefully remove the stems from the caps, then finely chop the stems and set the mushroom caps aside.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped mushroom stems and garlic in the hot oil, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes until any moisture evaporates and the garlic becomes fragrant, but not burnt. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Once the mushroom mixture has cooled, stir in cream cheese, Parmesan, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until the filling is thick and fully combined. Use a small spoon to generously fill each mushroom cap with the stuffing. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a prepared baking sheet.
Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are hot and a little liquid begins to form under each mushroom cap.
