Garlic-Lime Pork Chops

Ingredients
-
¾ teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
-
¼ teaspoon chili powder
-
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, divided
-
⅛ teaspoon paprika
-
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
-
1 ½ pounds pork chops
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
3 tablespoons lime juice
-
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, combine salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder. Coat both sides of the pork chops with this spice mix.
-
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with butter and olive oil. Cook the pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside, reserving the juices in the pan.
-
Add lime juice and the remaining garlic powder to the skillet. Stir to mix with the leftover juices, then pour the sauce over the pork chops before serving.
