Greek-Style Chicken Burgers with Feta Cheese

1 pound ground chicken

½ cup dry bread crumbs

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

3 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano

2 ounces crumbled feta cheese
Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease the grill grate.

In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, lemon juice, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Shape the mixture into 5 patties. Cut feta into 5 equal portions and place one portion on top of each patty. Carefully fold the chicken mixture around the cheese to seal it inside.

Grill the patties until they are no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 5 to 7 minutes per side. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
