Grilled Bison Burger Delight

Ingredients List
-
1 pound ground bison
-
½ cup panko bread crumbs
-
1 large egg
-
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
-
4 dashes hot sauce (such as Tabasco®)
-
1 pinch granulated garlic
-
1 pinch ground black pepper
-
olive oil cooking spray
-
4 slices American cheese
-
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Cooking Instructions
-
Preheat your outdoor grill on high and lightly grease the grill grate.
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground bison, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic, and pepper. Shape the mixture into four patties and place them on a baking sheet. Cover with foil and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to chill.
-
Lightly spray the patties with cooking spray. Grill them on the preheated grill for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are hot and slightly pink in the center. Add cheese slices on top and continue grilling for another 2 minutes, or until the cheese melts. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (70°C) when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
-
Place the cooked patties between toasted buns and serve immediately.
