Grilled Pork Chops

2 ½ tablespoons white sugar

1 ½ tablespoons kosher salt

1 sprig fresh rosemary

2 sprigs fresh thyme

4 (1-inch thick) pork chops
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together water, sugar, and salt; pour into a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Add rosemary, thyme, and the pork chops. Ensure the chops are coated in the marinade, press out any excess air, and seal the bag. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

Take the pork chops out of the marinade and discard the liquid.

Grill the pork chops for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the center is no longer pink. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
