Grilled Teriyaki Flank Steak

½ cup soy sauce

¼ cup olive oil

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ cup grated fresh ginger root

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 ½ pounds beef flank steak
Instructions
In a large resealable bag, combine the wine, soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and pepper. Add the flank steak, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 8 hours, or overnight, to marinate.
Heat your outdoor grill to a medium-high temperature.
Take the steaks out of the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness. For rare, the internal temperature should be at least 145°F (63°C). Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.
