6 cups apples - peeled, cored and chopped

⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup white sugar
Instructions

In a 2-quart saucepan, combine apples, water, cinnamon, and cloves over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add sugar and continue simmering for another 5 minutes.
