Incredibly Moist Meatloaf

2 pounds ground beef

½ onion, chopped

¾ cup small chunks of bread

2 large eggs, beaten

½ cup milk

½ cup chopped green bell pepper

1 ½ teaspoons salt

¼ teaspoon sage

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ cup ketchup, or to taste
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, torn bread, beaten eggs, milk, chopped bell pepper, salt, sage, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and press the mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Top with ketchup.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the meatloaf is no longer pink in the center. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached at least 160°F (70°C).
