Johnsonville's Italian Meatballs

Ingredients List
-
⅓ cup dry bread crumbs
-
1 large egg, lightly beaten
-
¼ cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
-
¼ cup milk
-
¼ cup finely chopped onion
-
1 (19 ounce) package Johnsonville Italian Mild Sausage Links, casings removed
Instructions
Set the oven to preheat at 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, milk, and onion. Stir in the sausage until combined. Shape the mixture into 20 meatballs and arrange them on a shallow baking pan.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are fully cooked. To check, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of a meatball; it should read at least 160°F (72°C).

Cooking Tip
To peel the sausage links, make a slit along the length of each one, cutting about 3/4 of the way through. Next, flip the sausage over, grip the casing, and carefully peel it off.
