Miso-Soy Glazed Chilean Sea Bass

⅓ cup mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)

⅓ cup miso paste

¼ cup packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons soy sauce

4 (4 ounce) fillets fresh sea bass, about 1 inch thick

2 tablespoons chopped green onion
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine sake, mirin, miso paste, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Whisk until fully blended.

Place the sea bass fillets in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Refrigerate for 3 to 6 hours to marinate.

Preheat the broiler and adjust the oven rack to about 6 inches from the heat source. Leave the oven door slightly ajar.
Place the fillets on a baking sheet and discard the marinade.

Broil the sea bass in the preheated oven until it easily flakes with a fork, about 7 to 9 minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
